Preamble :
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the relationship between the Maricm voyages agency located at 17 Cours Gambetta, 69003 Lyon, France, and any natural or legal person wishing to purchase travel services (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”). By making a reservation or purchase from Maricm voyages , the Customer unreservedly accepts these GTC.
1. Purpose:
These T&Cs define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of travel services (organization of Hajj, Umrah trips, organized trips, ticketing) offered by Maricmvoyages .
2. Reservation and Payment:
- Reservation: Services can be booked through Maricm Voyages via its website, by phone, or directly at the agency. Reservations are confirmed by a confirmation email after payment of a deposit.
- Payment: A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required upon booking. The full balance must be paid before departure, on a date specified in the booking confirmation. Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or in cash at the agency.
- Modification or Cancellation by the Customer: Any modification or cancellation of the reservation by the Customer must be communicated in writing. Cancellation fees are specified in Article 4 below.
3. Prices and Price Revision Conditions:
Prices displayed are in euros (€) and include taxes. Prices are subject to change based on cost variations (shipping costs, taxes, etc.). Any increase will be notified to the Customer, who can then accept the change or cancel their reservation without additional costs.
4. Cancellation and Modification of Services:
- Cancellation by the Customer: In the event of cancellation by the Customer, fees may be applied:
- Up to 30 days before departure: 10% of the total amount.
- From 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total amount.
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total amount.
- Cancellation by the Agency: Maricm Voyages reserves the right to cancel the trip in the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances. In this case, the Client will be fully reimbursed, without being able to claim damages.
5. Administrative and health formalities:
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the validity of their passport, visa, vaccinations, and other travel formalities, particularly for Hajj and Umrah. Maricm Voyages cannot be held responsible in the event of refusal of entry into a country due to non-compliance with these formalities.
6. Insurance:
Maricm Voyages strongly recommends that the Client take out cancellation, repatriation, and assistance insurance. In the absence of insurance, the Client assumes full responsibility for any additional costs incurred in the event of cancellation or an incident during the trip.
7. Responsibility:
Maricm Voyages is committed to providing the services as described, subject to availability and necessary modifications. Maricm Voyages cannot be held responsible for incidents due to external circumstances (delays, strikes, flight cancellations, etc.).
8. Complaints:
Any complaints regarding the services provided must be submitted within 30 days of the end of the stay, by registered mail to Maricm Voyages or by email. After this period, no complaints will be considered.
9. Confidentiality of Personal Data:
Maricm Voyages is committed to respecting the confidentiality of its clients’ personal data. In accordance with the GDPR, clients have the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data, which they can exercise by contacting the agency.
10. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction:
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
